ASUS Zenfone Zoom and Zenfone Max to officially launch next week

Jerry Shen, CEO of ASUS, announces that the company’s Zenfone Zoom and Zenfone Max will officially launch during IFA next week after recently showing a preview to everyone.

The Zenfone Zoom was introduced back in January, while the Zenfone Max was announced early this month. With the number of new handsets coming from the Taiwanese company, Shen told Digitimes that ASUS is planning to ship over 21 million smartphones by the end of this year, with plans to expand it significantly to 30 – 40 million units by 2016.

Stay tuned as this year’s IFA in Berlin will be held this September 4-9 where we will be hearing the formal launch that hopefully includes the release dates for each.
