Along with the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia T2 Ultra dual, Sony has also announced their mid-tier smartphone that packs 4-inch display and dual-SIM capabilities – the Xperia E1 and the Xperia E1 dual.
Sony calls the Xperia E1 as a new “music focused player” in the company’s Xperia line-up. It features a 4-inch (800 x 480) display at 233ppi, a 3 megapixel rear camera, 4GB of internal storage with microSD card support, Cat 14 HSPA+, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, 100Db speaker, and a dedicated Walkman key with shake-to-shuffle.
Powering the device is a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8210 dual-core CPU, 512MB of RAM, 1,700mAh battery, and Android 4.3 Jellybean.
Like the T2 Ultra, the Xperia E1 comes with a dual-SIM variant (Xperia E1 dual) and will be available in Black, White, and Purple. Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
