Xiaomi has revealed that is will launch a new smartphone next week that features a metal body and fingerprint scanner.
According to a post at MIUI forums, the upcoming smartphone will have a fingerprint scanner, metal body, and a powerful processor. Other details were not revealed but the photo posted by Lin Bin on Weibo points to what is reported to be the Redmi Note 2 Pro that made an appearance at TENAA last week.
Based on TENAA’s listing the Redmi Note 2 Pro will sport a 5.5-inch display, MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal stroage, 13MP rear camera with dual-tone flash, 5MP front camera, 3,060mAh battery, Fingerprint scanner, and Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. The body measures 149.98 × 75.96 × 8.75 mm and has a weight of 165 g.
Xiaomi will officially reveal this new phone on November 24, Tuesday, so stay tuned.
