Spotify on Windows Phone is now for free

Android and iOS users have been enjoying Spotify for free on their smartphones and tablets. Now, it’s Windows Phone’s turn to receive some free music streaming.

Before, you can download Spotify for free at the Windows Phone Store, however, you’ll need a premium Spotify account in order to log-in and use the service. But with this new update, WP users can now stream for free.

Updated for Windows Phone users today – Spotify’s free mobile experience lets you shuffle play:

All of the music. Listen to all the playlists you’ve created and playlists from the people you follow. Spotify lets you discover new music, save, shuffle and share.

Your favourite artists. Want to listen to a certain artist? Just hit shuffle play, sit back and listen to their entire catalogue. Don’t settle for something similar. Don’t settle for just one track from the artist you want to hear every 20 minutes.

Want the right playlist? Just Browse. Going for a jog or to the gym? We’ve got the playlist to help you go the extra mile. Hosting a dinner or getting ready for a big night out? We’ve got you covered. We even have playlists for different moods, so regardless of whether you need an upbeat boost or something more relaxing to wind down to – we’ve got just the thing.

Now go ahead WP users and stream your preferred music on Spotify for free.

Live Lock Screen Beta now on Windows Store

Are you tired of looking the same old default lock screen on you Windows Phone device? Well, fret no more as Microsoft has recently made the Live Lock Screen (Beta) app available on Windows Store, and we think you should really give this one a try.

With the Live Lock Screen, WP users can customize their lock screen by selecting either photos on their device or use Bing Images for the background, as well as select from six pre-configure themes that are currently available on the app.

Truth be told though, there’s nothing really groundbreaking about this new app that we haven’t seen on other third party app on other mobile platforms. That being said, the team behind the Live Lock Screen still has a lot of things to cover before the app exits the Beta stage or, a more likely scenario, be included on future Windows Phone firmware updates.

The new Live Lock Screen Beta is free to download and can be found on the source link below.

From the richest and the premium, the market-disrupting smartphones from North of the Wall to an army building up from Essos holding the powers of PureView and a few dragons – we have you covered. A lot of things won’t perfectly fit as you’d expect, and a lot of houses aren’t to be found here, but these are the best similarities you can find (Stannis vs Renly, Samsung vs HTC).

Feel free to add and speak out the similarities and the differences that you can find down in the comments section down below. Hodor? Hodor.
