Instagram for Windows 10 also gets the latest UI update

Just last week, users of the popular photo-sharing app, Instagram, was greeted by a refreshed UI and a new icon to reflect the company’s minimal take. As always, it was initially available to iOS and Android but Windows 10 is now joining the crop.

The update is now live for Windows 10 Mobile users as version 8.0 which is around 50MB of size. To download, head to the Microsoft Store here or simply update the app if you have it already.

Since its formal separation from Sony, VAIO has been quietly making a comeback. Sticking to its aesthetic in hardware design, they have announced their new smartphone powered by Windows 10.

The VAIO Phone Biz is made out of silver-finished aluminum that shouts premium. Its LCD is sized at 5.5 inches with full HD resolution. Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset w/ 3GB of RAM. Camera department is handled by a 13-megapixel rear shooter and an LED flash.

Microsoft Lumia 550, a budget Windows 10 Mobile

Emerging markets will not be left behind thanks to the Microsoft Lumia 550 — a budget smartphone with Windows 10 Mobile and an AMOLED display.

The Lumia 550 has a 4.7-inch HD AMOLED display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. A 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera is also onboard. The 2,100mAh battery is accessible with a removable back panel and can be swapped for new color options.

With full LTE support, the smartphone will retail for $139 in December.
