Iloilo Paraw Regatta Festival 2013

Iloilo city is set to hold the Paraw Regatta again. This year the city is celebratig the 41st edition of the festival. It is said that the Paraw Regatta of Iloilo is the oldest sailboat racing competition in Southeast Asia.

Every year various activities are lined up leading to highlights. There are cooking competitions, sports activities, beauty pageant, mardi gras competition, and of course the event every one is eagerly awaiting the race of the wind-powered sailboats.

Kalibo Ati-atihan 2013: The Mother of all Festivals

Party like it’s the end of the world. And that’s exactly hat I did in Kalibo as the town celebrated it’s annual Kalibo Ati-atihan Festival 2013. Panaad sa Negros Festival 2013

It’s still four moths to go, but preparations are now underway as Negros Occidental will once again host the annual Panaad sa Negros Festival 2013.

Panaad sa Negros is an annual Festival of the Province of Negros Occidental. Every summer the 19 towns and 12 cities of the province plus the Chartered City of Bacolod, converge at the Panaad Park and Stadium for a week full of singing, dancing, and of course, food fest! This is the time when the various towns and cities would showcase their best products and have them displayed (and most of the time, available for sale!) at their respective booths!
