Vizio, an American consumer electronics company, gets back in the smartphone business with the announcement of two new high-end Androids- a 5-inch 1080p and 4.7-inch 720p smartphones.
Aside from the gorgeous displays, both devices will have dual-SIM capabilities, microSD card support, and will run a stock Android Jelly Bean. The difference between the two is that the 5-incher will be sporting an unspecified dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor with 2GB of RAM while the 4.7-incher will carry a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek processor with 1GB of RAM. You can watch The Verge’s hands-on in the video below:
The 5-inch 1080p Vizio smartphone is a great addition to the list of Full HD smartphones currently in line to be released this year. The only downer is that Vizio is only interested in selling both smartphones in the Chinese market. There’s no information about pricing but lets hope that it finds it way here.
