Eats Iloilo and More!

If there’s one activity that I always love to do in Iloilo, hands down, it must be eating!  Iloilomis home to traditional Ilonggo cuisine as well as international flavors. So you get a wide array of foods and dishes to choose from.

It’s like old world meets new world in Iloilo City.  A just a few weeks back, I found myself in the busy streets of Iloilo again to feast on its variety of delectable offings.

Kruhaaay Antique Heritage Tour Day 3

It’s the last day of our tour in Antique and I am pretty much excited to try new stuff while here! We we up a little early again, for our coffee, and breakfast of corned beef and sunny side up.  It is our last day in Antique and we made sure to save the best for last!

After breakfast, we went to the Tribal Adventures facility to try the whitewater kayak experience. I have tried the whitewater radfting in Davao before So more or less I have an idea of what to expect.

And before we go out in the river, we had our safety briefing first. Tribal Adventures has been operating the whitewater kayak in Tibiao for quite some time now, but it is only recently that it came into spotlight when Katahum Tours started to market this activity as part of their tour product.

Kruhaaay Antique Heritage Tour Day 2

It’s Day 2 of our Antique Heritage Tour, and I’m excited to explore the rest of the province!  We woke up a little bit early for our cup of coffee. We spent our night at the Zipline Inn. It was named as such because it is adjacent to a Zipline facility.

From our accommodations, we were then shuttled to the beach where we Had our lambaklad fishing the previous day for our breakfast.  We had the usual Filipino breakfast but this time, by the beach!

Day’s Hotel Iloilo: My Home in the City of Love

Tis is not my first time to try staying at the Days Hotel in Iloilo City. In fact this is one of the reliable hotel brands that I recommend to friends who are visiting the City known for its Dinagyang Festival and La Paz Batchoy.

My first experience with Day’s Hotel Iloilo was in 2010 when the hotel was one of the major sponsors of Visayas BloggingSummit, and the Philippine Blog Awards – Visayas.

And just a few weeks back, I found myself sleeping in one of its rooms again.  (...)
