VAIO Phone Biz: A Windows 10 smartphone

Since its formal separation from Sony, VAIO has been quietly making a comeback. Sticking to its aesthetic in hardware design, they have announced their new smartphone powered by Windows 10.

The VAIO Phone Biz is made out of silver-finished aluminum that shouts premium. Its LCD is sized at 5.5 inches with full HD resolution. Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset w/ 3GB of RAM. Camera department is handled by a 13-megapixel rear shooter and an LED flash.

The now-independent VAIO brand has just announced its very first smartphone — the VAIO Phone. Scroll past the break to see what they’re offering as their first venture in the smartphone category.

The VAIO Phone, (a very straightforward name) reportedly carries a $420 price tag, but is currently open only to the Japanese market. It’s a bit pricey for its specs but we’re willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until we’ve examined their phone closely.
