Finally, starting March 14, passengers at the Ninoy Aquino Internation Airport (NAIA) can book GrabCars without any trouble from the airport’s management.
The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) and Grab have signed an agreement yesterday which allows GrabCar driver to pick up passengers from the all the four terminals of Manila’s international airport.
But it isn’t as open as we thought because there will be Grab booths at designated areas at the terminal where booking agents may assist. At least, even passengers without a smartphone and data connectivity will be able to book a ride rather than taking the usual taxis or coupon vehicles.
Passengers can only be picked up where the Grab booths are:
Terminal 1 — Main Arrival Curbside
Terminal 2 — Inner Arrival Curbside between Bays 7 and 8
Terminal 3 — Secondary Arrival Curbside between bays 5 and 6
Terminal 4 — Curbside
Grab is the first TNC to be officially accredited by MIAA to pick-up passengers within the airport’s premises and we expect Uber to follow suit.
