The FOTON Thunder is a pick-up equipped with a Euro 4-compliant 2.8 liter ISF CRDi turbo diesel Cummins engine mated with a 5-speed manual transmission from GETRAG. With these parts, Durability will come with the name of Thunder. The Thunder is a vehicle that gives high level protection for its passengers safety rated 4-star by ANCAP and Euro NCAP. Equipped with front crumple zones, Dual front-airbags and anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution.
During the event, the FOTON Thunder 4×4 tackled a track composed of slopes and hills of different heights and angles to demonstrate Thunder’s power and traction. Other obstacles proved the Thunder’s flexibility and maneuverability in various types of terrain of rocks, mud, and water with its meticulously engineered suspension.
