SpeedTest Report: 10Mbps Tattoo Home Broadband

So I finally got the much-needed DSL upgrade at home. We upped our broadband plan from the usual 2Mbps (a 2nd DSL as backup) to 10Mbps and made it our primary fixed-line connection.

We decided to make the move after burning thru the battery of the HTC One which I’ve used as an LTE hotspot for 3 months. It was a costly move and now I don’t waht to do the same thing to my LG G2.

So an upgrade to the home DSL is more convenient. Here’s the speed test we got from the 10Mbps line. Did it in the afternoon so we’re hoping it’s going to be faster in the evenings.

So far, we’re averaging 8.5Mbps which isn’t bad (we’re also getting around 900KB/s via P2P). It’s not as fast as the 20Mbps+ I’m getting via LTE but it’s enough. Read more about the upgrade and the freebies that came with it here.
