In addition to the Vibe Shot, Lenovo also announced the first smartphone to have a Dolby ATMOS surround technology embedded at its core. The A7000, a mid-range smartphone, carries decent specs at a decent price.
Lenovo A7000 specs:
5.5-inch IPS HD display @ 1280 x 720 resolution
1.5GHz MediaTek MT6752m octa-core processor
2GB RAM
8GB internal storage
Expandable via microSD up to 32GB
8MP rear camera
5MP front camera
Dual-SIM
Wi-Fi
LTE
7.9mm thick
140 grams (weight)
Dolby ATMOS surround sound
2,900mAh Li-Po battery
As mentioned earlier, it’s the first handset that comes with Dolby’s ATMOS sound technology. We’ve previously tested out its surround performance and had a great time. Now the company wants to bring that experience to headphones with voices and noises having broader range from high to lows, according to Lenovo.
You basically have a dual-SIM smartphone with good screen real estate and capable internals, not to mention good sound quality. For all of that the Lenovo A7000 will have an asking price of $170 (approx. Php7.5K) and will be available this month.
Stay tuned for its local availability.
