The Samsung Portable SSD T1 has been officially launched in the Philippines and now available for purchase.

As its name suggests, the SSD T1 comes in a sleek and compact body that is easy to carry around. It boasts a sequential read/write speeds of up to 450MB/s with a USB 3.0 super speed interface, and 8,000 Input Output Per Second (IOPS) and 21,000 IOPS for random read and write speed, respectively. Samsung adds that its random write IOPS is approximately 100 times faster than a typical external hard disk drive (HDD).

The Samsung Portable SSD T1 is priced at Php9,999 for the 250GB capacity and is now available at Samsung’s authorized distributors and resellers. The 500GB and 1TB capacities are yet to arrive.
