The music streaming service also announced that they have the biggest paid subscriber base in the entire industry, with 30 million users paying for the premium service, and the remaining 70 million user still tune into their free subscription. That’s actually pretty solid that 3 out of 10 subscribers are actually paying for the premium service.

If you are still into their free subscription, you may want to check out the difference between its free service and premium service on the chart provided by Spotify.

Four Online Services Worth Paying Monthly

Although a lot of the most useful apps we see are free, some services are far worth more than what we initially expected. With a little money to shell out, the premium versions of these four apps are worth the monthly fees, as these can surely increase your productivity and entertainment, giving you benefits in the long run.

onlineservices-paid

Some web companies we use offer access or more benefits by going into a premium or pro version of their services. It’s essentially the income-generating tool for any company to continue developing a better product and maintain its services for the current user base. Even mobile apps and games take on this model by offering their apps free, and additional perks can be unlocked at an in-app purchase. Here are some of those online services we think are worth your penny monthly.

Online services are arranged in alphabetical order.

dropboxpro

Everyone needs more storage. Dropbox generally gives out up to 16GB on free accounts which you can sync on your devices, and you can extend to 1TB and add a slew of new features like remote-wiping your files with a $9.99 (*Php455) monthly subscription. Rival service Google Drive also offers the same price for the capacity mentioned. Works really great for those who need flexibility and more storage capacity, I’d say.

evernotepremium

If you’re one who regularly keeps notes of everything to do, Evernote Premium is a great choice. Aside from getting a larger space for all those notes you create, Php210 a month gives you more in-app powers such as the ability to annotate PDFs and the ability to work offline, boosting your productivity in the long run.

office365

Microsoft offers the updated and latest versions of its Office suite of applications with extra add-ons online, either for personal use or small team collaborations. A monthly $5.99 (*Php267) subscription gives you the Office 365 Personal plan, and consists of 1TB OneDrive online storage, 60 minutes of worldwide calls with Skype, and the ability to create and work with your files on the go with one PC and one mobile device.

For those who need more flexibility, Microsoft offers the Office 365 Home which can take up to five PCs and five mobile devices for up to five different users for $7.99 (*Php356) a month.

spotify-premium

Rounding up this list is a music service that’s really cool, it’s available on most platforms. One can never doubt that Spotify offers one of the largest music catalogs in the cyberspace. It’s a great service for listening to music on demand. For Php129 a month, you can up the ante and listen to unlimited streams of your favorite music, devoid of any advertisements. You also get to save your tunes offline as well, saving you mobile juice when you’ve got an otherwise crappy mobile data reception.

That’s it for our list of online services that are sure worth your every peso monthly. Got more to add in this list? Hop on the comments section below and tell us your thoughts.
