World Costume Festival 2013

The Heritage City of Vigan together with Sinag Arts Foundation and GMA Network hosted this year’s World Costume Festival. the last time that the Philippines hosted the event was in 2001 in Davao City.

I was so thrilled to participate in this year’s gathering of the world’s costume designers and scenographers. And Vigan is definitely the best place to become the backdrop of all the activities lined up.

So off I flew to Laoag City via SEAIR Tiger Airways. From Laoag, which is the Gateway to Ilocandia, we were then shuttled to Vigan. We stayed at Casa Rica along Calle Quirino corner Calle Abaya, one of the newer accommodations here in Vigan.

SEAIR Tiger Airways now flies to Laoag!

Last week I was invited to join the inaugural flight of Southeast Asian Airlines (SEAIR) to the Sunshine City of Laoag. I am very thrilled since this is going to be my first flight with SEAIR Tiger Airways after we officially agreed on our partnership.

Last week I was in Iloilo City to cover the Grand Launch of the Digital tourism Project of Smart Communications in cooperation with the local heritage advocates of Iloilo.

We arrived in Iloilo April 20th for a full day of tour, exploring several ancestral houses as well as centuries old churches, as far as Miag-ao in the south.

Smart Launches Digital Tourism in Iloilo!

I was recently in Iloilo to cover the Digital Tourism launch which was spearheaded by Smart Communications in partnership with the local stakeholders from Iloilo City.

Through the Digital Tourism project, tourists as well as locals will be able to obtain information about the various attractions with the your of mobile phones, or tablets.

Ramada Manila Central Celebrates Chinese New Year with a bang!

It was wild, crazy and everything in red! It was Chinese New Year, and I was so lucky to have been invited by Ramada Manila Central to celebrate the festivities in their posh hotel.

coming from Santa Rosa Laguna, I traveled all the way to Manila then took a cab to Binondo to join the celebration. The traffic jam is terrible. So I am resigned to the fact that my only option get to Binondo from the LRT Carriedo Station is to walk.
