Smart’s taking pre-orders for Xperia V LTE

Smart is now taking reservations for the Sony Xperia V starting today. This phone joins the ZTE T82 to become the second phone to be offered under the telco’s LTE plans.

For a limited time (until January 30, 2013), the Sony Xperia V will be free under Smart’s UnliData Plan 1500 which includes 120 SMS and 60 minutes worth of voice calls to all networks and 1.5GB data cap. If you didn’t make the January 30 cut off, you’d have to shell out an additional PhP6,500 to get the phone.

Alternatively, you can get the phone free under the UnliData 2000 plan which has a 2.5GB data cap in addition to 200 SMS and 150 minutes of voice calls to all networks.

The Sony Xperia V runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and boasts a 1.5GHz dual-core processor paired with a gigabyte of RAM. It’s also worth noting that the handset is IP57-certified meaning it’s dust and water resistant and is waterproof up to a meter for 30 minutes.
