Just days after the Xperia Z Ultra has made its formal debut, the rumor mill has churned out the first ever snapshot of the highly-speculated Sony smartphone with 20MP camera which currently goes by the moniker Honami.
The said picture (seen below) originated from the folks over at a TechTudo, tech blog site that hails from Brazil. In the image, the posterior of the rumored handset is placed in between the recently announced Xperia Z Ultra (left) and Xperia ZL (right).
Regrettably, the site wasn’t able to take a snap of the smartphone’s front panel which could’ve given us a clue on its screen size. But judging from the extra headroom that this phone has over the ZL, I think it’s safe to say that Honami’s display will slightly be above 5 inches.
Based on early leaks and rumors, here’s how Sony i1’s specs sheet will look like.
Sony Honami specs:
5-inch+ 1080p IPS display @ 1920×1080 pixels
Added layer of glass for protection
Qualcomm 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor
Adreno 330 GPU
2GB RAM
32GB internal storage
LTE 100Mbps
Wi-Fi 802.11ac
Bluetooth 4.0
IR Blaster
Li-Ion 3,000mAh battery
Android 4.2 Jelly bean
TechTudo claims that the hardware shown in the image was a prototype, thus it may still be subject to makeover. But then again, the picture can just be a product of their wild imagination and skillful handiwork. Either way, it’s best if we take this matter lightly until we hear an official word from Sony.
