Sony Philippines has recently announced the local pricing of one of the company’s latest mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras, the Sony a5100.

The new Sony a5100 can be had for Php34,999 which comes with a 16-50 f/3.5-5.6 kit lens (SELP1650) . It’s five grand cheaper than the similarly-spec’d a6000 that has built-in EVF.

Sony has officially announced the a5100 mirrorless camera which sports internals similar to the a6000 – 24.3 megapixel APS-C sensor, hybrid autofocus system, and a touchscreen display, but without the electronic viewfinder.

The Sony a5100 (ILCE-5100) will be available in September with a price tag of $550 for the body-only or $700 for the kit that includes a 16-50mm motorized zoom lens (model SELP1650).
