SKK Mobile announces Chronos Byte and Chronos Cross

Aside from the Chronos Ace, SKK Mobile also announced two smartphones today, the Byte and Cross.

The SKK Mobile Chronos Byte, based on photos posted online, looks like a Huawei Mate 8 look-a-like. It’s got a 5.5-inch HD display, 1.5GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. Its camera is quite disappointing at 5-megapixel for the rear and 2-megapixel for your selfie.

While the SKK Mobile Chronos Cross is the biggest of the bunch at 6 inches. Despite the increase in size, there’s a decrease in resolution to qHD (960 x 540 pixels) or at 183ppi. In return, you get a 2.5D glass on top of it. It’s still has a 1.5GHz quad-core, 1GB RAM, and 8GB storage. The rear has an 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel for the front — both have their dedicated LED flash.

The Chronos Byte has an introductory price of Php 2,599 (original price is Php 3,599) and the Chronos Cross is at Php 3,299 (original price is Php 3,999).

SKK Mobile has just revealed their new Chronos line of smartphones through their Facebook page and one of them has the latest Android version in tow.

The SKK Mobile Chronos Ace sports a 5-inch IPS LCD powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. There’s 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It’s camera is stated to be at 13-megapixels for the rear while the selfie camera is at 5-megapixels. And the main feature of the Ace is its Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

SKK provided limited info on its official Facebook page but one thing’s for sure, you can have this smartphone for cheap at just Php 2,299 introductory price. Regular SRP is Php 3,299, so grab it while it’s hot.

SKK Aura Lite, 5-inch Android for P2,599

A new budget smartphone from SKK Mobile is coming and its price tag could attract attention from potential buyers.

The SKK Aura Lite has a quad-core processor, 5-inch qHD IPS display and 4GB internal storage that is expandable up to 64GB. Onboard as well are 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras, FM Radio, GPS, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. A 2,500mAh battery provides juice while Android 4.4 KitKat runs on the device.

There’s no mention of specific SoC and RAM, but we’ll update as soon as we get more details. SKK will sell the smartphone for Php 2,599.
