Smartphones with a set physical button for navigation have somewhat become a rare commodity nowadays. And while most users have already grown accustomed to the Android’s capacitive keys, there are still a few people who prefer having a tangible key on their handset.
If you’re that type of person, then the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Core Advance may just be the right handset for you. That is, of course, if you can put up with its mediocre configuration.
For starters, the handset’s 4.7-inch screen is only outfitted with a WVGA resolution. On top of that, the handset only runs on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM and an expandable 8GB internal storage.
There’s a 5MP camera with flash on the back, partnered with VGA camera on the front. Keeping the lights on for the Galaxy Core Advance is a 2000mAh battery pack which should provide good mileage considering the modest configuration that it has to power up.
As consolation, the handset will run on Android Jelly bean from the get go and will come pre-loaded with a bunch of nifty apps found on its higher-spec’d siblings.
Samsung hasn’t disclosed the official pricing of the new Galaxy Core Advance, but claims that it will be available in the early part of 2014.
