Nokia World, Abu Dhabi. In this afternoon’s session, Nokia executives surprised the crowd by announcing RAW support for the Lumia 1520 (and the Lumia 1020 too).
Previously, RAW support in photography is only mostly available to dSLRs. RAW image format gives you the ability to change the image file for further processing.
RAW is popular among amateur and pro photographers which allows them to change a lot of the settings like exposure, ISO, etc. in editing software like Adobe Lightroom even after the image has been taken.
RAW support on the Lumia 1520 is a first in any smartphone.
