Manila Water, MWSS team up anew with QC for Annual Camp Pag-ibig

The Quezon City government once again hosted the 38th Annual Camp Pag-ibig at the Balara Filters Compound with able support from the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) and its East Zone concessionaire Manila Water Company.

The yearly gathering brought together 3,000 children and adults with cognitive difficulties in a two-day camp of learning fun activities involving arts and crafts, water play, group presentations as well as interactive handwashing demo facilitated by Manila Water employees.

“Evolving Capacity with Family and Community Participation” has been chosen as this year’s theme which also featured the participation of the Department of Education–Special Education, Philippine Association for the Retarded and the Junior Chamber International, a leading global network of young active citizens from over 100 countries.

Manila Water Corporate Human Resources Group Director Ruel Maranan met and greeted the participants of the two-day learning camp for physically and developmentally challenged children, along with representatives from the local government of Quezon City led by 3rd District Representative Jorge “Bolet” Banal Jr.
