There are a lot of games with tons of hype behind them, and they are all mostly slated for a release sometime soon. Some games have lots of funding, some are really well thought and some carry the weight of living up to their franchise’s name. Check out our list for the upcoming games we’re looking forward to down below.
The Evil Within
A few people might say great survival horror games are now hard to find. Shinji Mikami, titled the father of survival horror, is back to direct this one. He was the mind behind the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 4 and Dino Crisis, and so far, everything looks extremely thrilling. The feeling after seeing the trailer below is indescribable, and if that’s enough, we are also linking the gameplay video here.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
As of writing, we only have limited information on the next Call of Duty. While Ghosts didn’t seem enough for us to buy into it, this looks more promising. Sure, it’s got a little futuristic vibe like other new first-person shooters, but that’s actually a good thing. Check out the reveal trailer to get an idea on what we are talking about:

Destiny
Destiny is one of those really ambitious games as it enters the genre of MMO-RPG first-person shooting with an open world that is futuristic. That’s quite a lot to swallow, but it’s happening.

Watch Dogs
Not just another open world game, Watch Dogs puts you in the position of someone who can control almost all the electronics in the city with just his smartphone. That in itself opens a lot of doors for gameplay possibilities, and since it has already been hyped up for too long, it’s releasing this month!

The Next Pokemon
Pokemon X and Y became a huge success, so we’re really excited for the next Pokemon game. While Pokemon Z / X2, Y2 is still in the works, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has already been announced for the 3DS and it’s a remake for the third-generation. We don’t know a lot about it yet, but here’s the reveal:

Heroes of the Storm & StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void
While Diablo III’s Reaper of Souls was just outed out recently and HearthStone is still hot on the plate, we all know Blizzard is cooking up Heroes of the Storm and the next expansion for StarCraft 2. We don’t know a lot about the next StarCraft 2 except that it’s going to be the conclusion of the trilogy plus a few more details, but Heroes of the Storm is what seems to be Blizzard’s main thing right now.
Heroes of the Storm, previously known as Blizzard Allstars, combines all of Blizzard’s heroes from Diablo, Warcraft and StarCraft into one game where all of them can fight. It’s kind of a geek’s dream, unless they’ve already grown loyal to LoL or DoTA 2, but nonetheless, we’re all eyes and ears on Blizzard for this. More of The Walking Dead
Drama, zombies and making choices – that’s what The Walking Dead games are all about, and it’s really a good formula that has kept us playing throughout several episodes. There are a lot more on the way, and we’re really excited to see what the Telltale games have in store for us.

The Sims 4
