PLDT has silently implemented new monthly caps for its Home Ultera plans, now with bigger monthly usage allowances but with auto-disconnection once you use it up.
PLDT Home Ultera now has the following monthly usage allowances:
The new allowances look good especially if you’re a heavy user but here’s the catch – you will be automatically disconnected once you use up your data allowance, unlike before when the ISP will just slow down your internet speed.
PLDT mentions that you can still connect to the internet by purchasing Volume Boosters that “will be added on top of your monthly volume allowance and reflected on your next billing statement.” Take a look at the table below:
Do note that you can only purchase a total of Php500 worth of Volume Boosters per month. However, unlike the monthly data allowances, unused Volume Boosters will be carried over to the next month.
