EastWest Bank recently inaugurated its branch in Plaridel, its sixth branch in the province of Bulacan. Plaridel, a first-class urban municipality and a historic town in Bulacan, is one of the most progressive growth centers in the province. Most notably, the town is home to Plaridel Airport as well as numerous aviation schools. Plaridel is also part of Metro Manila built-up area which are highly-progressive suburbs within and around the National Capital Region, particularly Central Luzon, Calabarzon and Mimaropa.
The bank currently has more than 391 branches nationwide, including the 47 branches of its subsidiary, EastWest Rural Bank. The bank is expecting to reach a combined network of 400 by end of 2014.
“We are proud to have rapidly expanded our stores in a short number of years. We now have 344 stores, complemented by 530 ATMs. We plan to open 100 more onsite and offsite ATMs for the convenience of our customers,” EastWest SEVP and Head of Retail Banking and Operations Cluster Gerry Susmerano said.
