The votes suggest that many prefer how the Nexus 6P shoots than the P9. Although both are carrying the same Huawei brand, the company implemented different cameras for each hence the difference in results.

Camera Blind Test: Huawei P9 vs LG V10

We’re back with another Camera Blind Test where we battle out the imaging capabilities of smartphones and let you, our readers, vote for who you think captured the better shot in Auto Mode.

For this article we pit the Huawei P9 against the LG V10.

Before we get down with the sample shots, let’s first check out the hardware built into these phones.

Huawei P9 camera specs:
Dual 12MP Leica cameras
f/2.2 aperture
Phase Detection autofocus
Dual-LED/Dual tone flash
1.25µm pixel size

LG V10 camera specs:
16MP main camera
f/1.8 aperture
Laser auto focus
Single LED flash
3-axis OIS
1.12µm pixel size

Note: Be sure to vote per category as the sample images are mixed (Huawei P9 is sometimes A, sometimes B. Same with LG V10).

Except for certain categories like Building and Trees, Indoor/Outdoor Flash, and Video Quality, the new Lumia 950 XL was voted to have better shots in all other aspects thanks to its intelligent Auto mode that detects the best combination of settings for each scene.

On the other hand, the Lumia 1020 seemed to have provided better lighting for its subjects due to its Xenon flash.
