HTC’s new phablet rumored w/ QHD display, 810 CPU, UltraPixel cam

A Brazilian website claims to have the exclusive scoop on HTC‘s alleged phablet. It will reportedly be called the Hima Ace Plus and will run on the latest Qualcomm processor, a 2K resolution display, and more.

HTC Hima Ace Plus rumored specs:
5.5-inch QHD display @ 2560 x 1440 resolution
2.3GHz Anapdragon 810 processor
3GB RAM
32GB internal storage
20MP rear camera
4MP UltraPixel front camera
3000mAh battery

The loosely-translated wesbite also includes a “fingerprint reader” that can be activated even on standby mode. In addition, the alleged phablet could be expected to come on August or September. Do remember, though, to take it with a grain of salt until nothing is still official.

Oppo R1C announced w/ sexy sapphire crystal back

The Oppo R1C launches today and with it comes a thin body and a sexy sapphire crystal back panel. There’s also some decent specs under the hood which includes a Snapdragon processor and 2GB RAM.

As you can see, the back panel has a classy design going on. It’s made of sapphire crystal so it should be durable and with its prism-like patterns the company also managed to make it look fashionable. Oppo U3 goes official with 4x optical zoom

Oppo is having a new member and what’s nice about this new smartphone is its dedicated audio chip and 4x optical zoom. This is the Oppo U3.

The Oppo U3 is a phablet at 5.9″ with 1920 x 1080 pixels and has a MediaTek MT6752 Octa-core 1.7GHz Cortex-A53 processor, a Mali-T760MP2 graphics, 2GB of RAM, and LTE. And as mentioned, its 13-megapixel rear camera has 4x optical zoom with 4K capabilities. While the front has a 5-megapixel camera paired with a flash for brighter selfies.

The dedicated audio chip promises high fidelity sound for the audiophiles. All packed together in a good-looking chassis and slim-design. International availability is yet to be announced but it will launch in China on January 14.
