Php716 billion railway from Pangasinan to Manila planned

Dubai company, Kampac Oil Group, is planning to construct additional railway system in Luzon that stretches from Sual, Pangasianan to Manila. Kampac has an Energy City in Pangasinan and the rialway system will link its project there back to Manila.

The railway will have two (2) lines, one is a non-commercial cargo line while the other is a commuter line.

Kampac is earmarking in excess of $15 billion (Php716 billion) for this project which will be constructed in the next 5 to 15 years. Kampac Oil plans to distribute and sell oil in the Asean region, with the Philippines as its distribution hub.
