Without too much fanfare, OPPO has unveiled a revamped version of the thinnest smartphone on their roster and conveniently dubbed it as the OPPO R5s.
Not much has changed on the new version apart from OPPO giving a shot in the arm in the storage and RAM capacity department. The “special edition” OPPO R5s now features 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM.
The company has maintained the smartphone’s ultra-thin form factor which only tips the scale at 4.85mm on the sides. It’s one of the slimmest smartphones in the market right now and it once held the title as the “thinnest smartphone in the world” before it was dethroned by the Vivo X5 Max.

The company’s official Facebook page didn’t disclose how much will the added storage space and RAM is going to cost and when will the R5s hit the local shelves. It did, however, mention that it will be available in Grey color.
