It looks like Samsung is updating its On5 series as the 2016 edition just passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This means that it will soon be ready for the public as a successor to the 2015 variant just like what they do with their Galaxy J and A series.
Some of the expected specifications of the On5 includes a 5-inch display, an Exynos 7570 chipset, and 2GB of RAM. Looking back at the 2015 On5, it seems like the 5-inch display is maintained while the chipset and RAM have both been bumped up.
What got the attention of consumers on the current On5 is its sub-Php6K pricing. When the new model comes out and becomes available in the Philippines, we expect it to be in the same price range if not exactly the same. Until then, stay tuned for more official details.
