Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire now available in the PH!

For those who have been waiting for so long to play the remake of the 3rd-generation Pokemon games, the wait is over! The new Pokemon games, called Alpha Sapphire & Omega Ruby, were announced this year and is now finally available on local shores.

All of Pokemon’s innovation in the well-received X & Y games are being put here in this remake, with a few more additions including Primal Evolutions of Kyogre & Groudon and a lot more.

Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire is now available locally for your Nintendo 3DS / 2DS at Php1,850.

Nintendo announces 3DS and 3DS LL anew

After almost 3 years, Nintendo has announced a refreshed 3DS portable gaming console. The new models feature a slight re-design and improved hardware.

Here’s a complete list of improvements introduced by Nintendo to the 3DS and the 3DS LL:

* Better quality 3D
* Second analog stick
* Built-in NFC
* Gyro sensor
* Two new bumper buttons
* 7 hour battery life
* microSD support
* Wireless PC backup support
* HTML5 browser
* CPU clock increase

The Nintendo 3DS will be available in Japan starting October for 16,000 while the Nintendo 3DS LL will sell for 18,800 yen.

Pokemon’s Generation VI games, Pokemon X & Y, are out now for the Nintendo 3DS! It will feature a few new creatures, the new Kalos region, and it will include new evolutions of existing pokemon such as Mega Mewtwo X & Mega Charizard Y.

We’ve heard that it’s going around retail stores now for as much as Php1,750 (Php1,650 for cash). Also, if you don’t have a 3DS just yet, you can try getting a 2DS – which is said to be made available along with Pokemon X & Y on the same date and on the same stores.
