When something big is coming, that’s when we hear all the noise & excitement.

Since Google’s acquisition of Motorola, we haven’t heard much of changes with the company. Now, not only do we get a glimpse of their new logo, but we’re also hearing of the company’s big return this August.

Gone is the red & intimidating feel of the old logo, and Google replaces it with a more colorful & friendly one. The font of the Motorola text has also changed to lower-case Roboto, the font used in Android. Below all of that, you will see Google’s mark – “a Google company“.

Apart from that, we might be seeing the fruits of Motorola’s efforts on August as multiple ad designs have been outed pointing towards August 1. The first set of ads are focused as a goodbye from Motorola, while the next set of ads are marking the new company’s return.

Motorola’s upcoming phone has made the headlines once again and this time EVLeaks has added a handful of meaty details to go along with the earlier leaks.

The handset is speculated to boast a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8960 Pro processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB worth of ROM. In accordance to the previous reveal, the Moto X is said to have a 4.7-inch display with 720p resolution.

In addition to this, EVLeaks also mentioned that the handset will sport a 10MP camera at the back and 2MP on the front. Disappointingly, however, the online tipster listed the handset to run on Android Jellybean version 4.2.2 instead of the much-anticipated Key Lime Pie.

According to the statement made by Dennis Woodside of Motorola, the Motorola X or what he’d like to call the “Hero” phone will be unveiled this October. But if these rumors turn out to be true, their franchise centerpiece will need more than just a 10MP camera to go head to head with the big names in the smartphone scene.
