Caltex recently celebrated the 1st anniversary of its Retailer Owned, Retailer Operated (RORO) Tandang Sora service station. The RORO business model allows entrepreneurs to customize their set-up to suit customers’ needs like a new Mcdonald’s store which will soon open in said station.

The wide shoulder line stretches back from the headlamp with a sharp line to echo the rising beltline. The highlight continues rearward into a very full powerful section that resolves into the tail lamps. The roof silhouette contributes to the impression of a car leaning forward – eager to take off. The All-New Volvo V40 features a new fully graphic interactive dashboard with personalized layout and information that enhances the intuitive and uncomplicated driver experience. With the Volvo Sensus, all in-car infotainment settings are presented on a five-inch color screen in the upper part of the instrument panel. Caltex sends two Smokey Mountain booters to FC Barcelona Soccer Camp

Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc.(CPI), in partnership with Gawad Kalinga (GK) and the Junior Chamber International-Manila (JCI), will be sponsoring two talented Smokey Mountain kids to the soccer camp of FC Barcelona, one of the world’s top football clubs.

Caltex selected Arnel Britania, 10, and, Jay-E Vhien Sabalza, 11, from the annual summer Caltex Supa Strikas Cup Football Tournament held recently at the Field of Dreams for indigent kids from the Smokey Mountain and Tondo areas.

To be held from April 17 to 21, the five-day soccer camp will be facilitated by coaches from FC Barcelona. Britania and Sabalza were selected based on several criteria such as athletic ability, team adaptability, and behavior exhibited during the games. “Through this partnership, we hope that we will be able to entice children from indigent families to get into sports and become more active,” Caltex Brand Manager Veronica Pangilinan said. She emphasized the crucial role of sports in an individual’s personal and social development: “Sports do not merely aid in developing motor skills. Children learn life skills when they play sports. Through sports, children learn to become resourceful, patient, and goal-oriented.”

New 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Moab

To kick off the 2013 model year, Jeep Wrangler debuts a limited-edition model named after one of the most popular off-road destinations in the world – Moab, Utah. The Jeep Wrangler Moab is based on the Wrangler Sahara model and is equipped with hardware popular with off-roading enthusiasts.

Official upgrades include 17-inch Rubicon alloy wheels painted gloss black running new 245/75R17 Goodyear Silent Armor off-road tires.

Unique exterior features on the Wrangler Moab include a Mopar power dome hood, premium rock rails, black fuel filler door. Other exterior touches include the new premium soft top, black wheel arches, a matte black Jeep grille badge and “Moab” decals on the hood. A body-color three-piece hard top is standard.

Interior modifications include black premium leather seats with black stitching, “Moab” embossed instrument panel grab handle, Mopar slush mats and Iron Gray trim on the vent rings, grab handles and steering wheel spokes.

Optional Mopar accessories are available, which include winch capable steel bumpers, tail lamp guards, and front and rear offroad bumpers.

The Jeep Wrangler Moab is available as a four-door Wrangler Unlimited model available in Crush, Rock Lobster, Gecko, Black and Bright White.

The 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited MOAB comes with a 2.8L CRD engine.

Harley-Davidson roars to The 9th Manila International Auto Show

Harley-Davidson makes a roaring entrance at the opening of the 9th Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). The legendary American motorcycle brand is the only premium motorcycle brand present in the country’s biggest annual motoring event.

For those unable to visit the newly-opened first dealership of Harley-Davidson in the Philippines at EDSA Greenhills, their latest motorcycles will be on display in the MIAS front and center at the main hall of the World Trade Center, Pasay City from April 4 to 7, 2013.
