There are lots of apps in the App Store and Play Store right now that centers on free chat and calls. However, one stands out as it lets you directly call landlines and mobiles via WiFi for free or with cheap rates – Libon.
Like most popular apps in the market, Libon offers free calls and messages to other contacts who use Libon. All you need to do is register inside the app using your local mobile number.
Once registered, Libon provides you with free 10 minutes worth of calls which you can use for outgoing calls to non-Libon contacts. Once that is consumed you can invite your friends and get 5 minutes worth of out calls for each that joins.
Libon is an interesting app as it works in all networks even when you don’t have a signal. You can just dial from inside the app and it will connect almost instantly. Just make sure that you have a stable WiFi connection and you’re good to go.
Libon is a free app developed by Orange Vallée, a subsidiary of French multinational telecommunications corporation Orange S.A. It currently works in more than 140 countries and is free to download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
