Lenovo has just announced its new set of Jellybean Android tablets in Barcelona – the A1000, A3000, and the S6000.
The A1000 will be Lenovo’s latest offering for the 7-inch category sporting a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It has up to 16GB of internal storage with microSD card support of up to 32GB. Other features include the Pocket Studio with Dolby Digital Plus for enhanced multimedia experience. The Lenovo A1000 will come in either black or white.
Next is the A3000 which Lenovo claims to deliver “full performance in a compact package.” Like the A1000, the A3000 is a 7-inch slate but with a 1024 x 600 IPS screen. It sports a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.2GHz, microSD card support of up to 64GB and optional 3G HSPA+. As for the body, it weighs 340g and is only 11mm thick.
Lastly is the 10-incher S6000. It packs an IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and powered by a quad-core MediaTek 8389/8125 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The S6000 also boasts a 178-degree wide viewing angle, a micro HDMI port, optional HSPA+, microphone, and 8 hours of continuous WiFi web browsing. It weighs 560g and is 8.6mm thin.
All three tablets come with Android 4.1 Jellybean out of the box and Lenovo Mobile Access. No details yet on pricing but they’re all set to be available worldwide from Q2 of 2013.
