LANDBANK lauded for Quality Management System

The Bank passed the first annual surveillance audit conducted by CIP earlier this year, citing that the QMS is well-maintained across LANDBANK’s NCR Branches. One year after the said branches’ ISO Certification, the benefits of QMS remain evident as measured and assessed against five critical areas: customer satisfaction and impact; overall operations flow; documents and records system; work environment; and internal and external communications.

In 2007, LANDBANK successfully implemented Phase 1 of the ISO-QMS in its wholesale banking and trust banking operations while in 2010, LANDBANK was recognized by the Government Quality Management Committee for its successful attainment of ISO 90001 Quality Management certification in three core banking processes: lending and financial services operations of the Public Sector Department, loan operations of the Pampanga Lending Center, and branch banking operations of the PEZA-Roxas Boulevard Branch.

The Bank now is moving towards making all bank units QMS ready after successfully expanding the scope of the ISO program to cover all 77 branches in the National Capital Region last year.

CIP has been LANDBANK’s partner in its QMS Journey since 2006 and continues to provide value-adding QMS audit services.

In a visit to LANDBANK, Mr. Emmanuel Petit, head of the International Operations of SOCOTEC Group, lauded the Bank for having one of the best Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the country. SOCOTEC is the mother company of Certification International Philippines, LANDBANK’s third-party QMS certifier. Also in photo are CIP Managing Director Rene Navarrete, LANDBANK President and CEO Gilda Pico, Executive Vice President for Branch Banking Sector Jocelyn Cabreza, Senior Vice President for South NCR Branches Group Marilyn Tiongson, First Vice President for North NCR Branches Group Jennifer Tantan, LANDBANK’s Quality Management Representative and Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning Liduvino Geron, and other officers of LANDBANK and CIP.
