Huawei P8 Now Available on Globe Plan 1999

Globe Telecoms has announced that they’ve added the recently-announced Huawei P8 on their roster.

The Huawei P8 sports a redesigned body that houses a set of note-worthy hardware comprising of an octa-core Kirin 930 processor with 3GB of RAM, expandable 16GB of internal storage and a non-removable 2680mAh battery pack.

Globe is offering the Huawei P8 at no extra fee under the limited edition Globe myLifestyle Plan 1999 which has a 24-month lock-in contract. The said postpaid plan comes with 5GB monthly mobile internet allocation, unlimited SMS and voice calls to Globe and TM.

The postpaid plan also comes with a bunch of freebies to further sweeten the deal. It comes with a free three-month access to HOOQ and Spotify, one (1) month Gadget Care coverage, as well as 1GB worth of storage on Globe Cloud Storage for two years.

Huawei P8 launched in SG, coming to PH by mid-June

Huawei has finally launched the P8 and the P8 Lite in South Pacific during the first day of CommunicAsia here in Singapore this week. Executives also announced they are targeting a the Philippine launch by the middle of June.

The Huawei P8 is the company’s newest flagship and is flanked by the smaller and more affordable P8 Lite and the bigger P8 Max which did not really get any air time during the event.

Huawei reps have also indicated the P8 will be released in the Philippines on the 2nd week of this month with an estimated retail price of just Php22,990. Meanwhile the P8 Lite might be pushed back to a few more weeks after that.

Only the Titanium Grey and the Mystic Champagne will be released in the Philippines with the 16GB capacity. They did not launch or show the premium version which is the Carbon Black and Prestige Gold which also has a 64GB internal storage and Kirin 935 2.2GHz CPU.

Huawei officially unveils its P8!

Huawei has officially announced its newest flagship — the P8. It’s got a 5.2-inch display, octa-core processor, and a camera that’s infused with new technology. Check out the revealed specs after the break.

There are apparently two version of the P8 — standard and premium. It’s still unclear what exactly the differences are, but we’ll update this article as soon as we get word on it as well as the rest of the specs.
