HP Stream 11, Stream 13 unofficially lands, starts at 14k

Announced back in September 2014, HP’s low-cost netbook-grade laptops are unofficially introduced by one local store.

Both laptops are supposed to be low-cost offerings with a hardware configuration that’s normally seen in netbooks.

The HP Stream 11/13 are powered by a fairly new Intel Celeron N2480 released around 3rd quarter of 2014.

HP Stream 11 specs:
11.6-inch LED display 1366×768 pixels
Intel Celeron N2840 2.16GHz dual-core
Intel Burst Technology up to 2.58GHz
Intel HD Graphics 311MHz/792MHz
2GB DDR3L 1333 MHz
32GB eMMC
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Miracast
Bluetooth 3.0

HP promises up to 8 hours, 15 minutes of battery life in a single full charge.

On the other hand, the Stream 13 has exactly the same internal hardware as the Stream 11 except for the display size.

Battery life of the Stream 13 is slightly lower at 7 hours, 45 minutes.

The HP Stream 11.6-inch model costs $199.99 while the HP Stream 13.3-inch model is priced at $229.99 before taxes and duties. However, the retail price pegged by local PC store Villman is Php13,980 and Php15,984, respectively (the huge discrepancy could probably be due to customs/importation tax).
