Mitsubishi Motors Philippines turns-over donation to Philippine Red Cross

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) turned-over its cash donation worth Seven Million Three Hundred Sixty Eighty Pesos (P 7,368,000) to the Philippines Red Cross (PRC) during its 2015 Fund Raising Kick-off event at the Midas Hotel. Present during this symbolic turn-over were MMPC President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Yoshiaki Kato and MMPC Executive Vice President Mr. Junya Masuda. PRC’s Chairman Richard Gordon and Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang gratefully received the donation which according to them is an enormous amount to aid the organization’s missions.

Thru its valued customers MMPC was able to generate a significant amount of donation. This was thru a promo campaign which was launched last year wherein for every purchase of a brand new Mitsubishi vehicle from its authorized dealers nationwide a portion of its sales or equivalent to One Thousand Pesos (P1,000) was given PRC. This promo campaign ran from December 2014 to January 2015 and during this period MMPC was able to sell a total of 7,368 vehicles. With this campaign MMPC was able to involve its valued customers in giving-back to the society and enlivening the spirit of sharing. MMPC aims that thru this generosity, PRC will be able to extend their charity and humanitarian services to more Filipinos and communities in need.
