Google Launches New Android One aka BQ Aquaris A4.5 in EU

Google unveiled the latest member of the Android One franchise in Europe, the BQ Aquaris A4.5.

As its name implies, the new Android One smartphone boasts a 4.5-inch display with a qHD resolution which is coated in Dragontrail galss.

Other notable features of the BQ Aquaris A4.5 include support for two LTE-provisioned SIM cards, a 2,470mAh battery pack, and a decent engine setup that consist of MediaTek MT6735M, 1GB of RAM and an expandable 16GB of on-board storage.

Street View of Select Locations in PH Now on Google Maps

Google Philippines has announced that 360-degree panoramic views of more than 30 notable locations in the Philippines are now accessible via Google Maps.

Thanks to the 360-degree panoramic view, Google Street View allows both tourists and locals to have a good view of a particular location. From there, they can plan their driving routes and check out nearby hotels and restaurants.

DOT Secretary Ramon Jimenez hopes that the addition Street View of key locations on Google Maps will provide a boost in tourism in the country. In a short statement, he said that “By allowing users to see a glimpse of the Philippines from wherever they are, we hope that Google Street View will inspire new visits from people who have not yet experienced the beauty of the country for themselves. And for those who have already been to the Philippines, we hope that this will give them new reasons to explore areas they may not have considered before, encouraging them to visit the Philippines again.”
