Google Knows: Flight details embedded in search results

For some time now, I really liked the way Google automatically adds my flight details into Google Now after it sees an e-ticket emailed to my GMail account. Gives me updates and reminders about my flights right in my phone.

Sometime though it gets a bit scary whenever you see personal information being harvested by Google.

Just tonight, I tried to do a web checkin on our flight to San Francisco so I googled the Singapore Airlines for the link. Here’s what I got in my search results.

The front page of the search results embedded all the details of my flight which it pulled off of an attachment in my GMail.

Of course, Google makes sure to note that only I can see these search results. On one hand it’s very useful and efficient; on the other hand, it’s kind of creepy.

There’s even a link to see all my past flights emailed to me.

Does not include flights that were not emailed to me.

I cannot remember how many times Google Now has helped me in reminding me of my flight schedules. Yet sometimes, I feel like all these details known to Google seems a bit too much.

What do you think? Do you like this Google Search feature? What other Google know-it-all-features do you feel is bordering on creepy?
