The mini-me version of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 has been officially announced, sporting a 1.7 GHz dual-core CPU and a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display.
The Galaxy S4 mini has the similar look and feel of its big brother but more compact. It features a 4.3-inch qHD (540 x 960, 256ppi) Super AMOLED display, an 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing, 8GB of internal storage (5GB usable), microSD card support, and a 1,900mAh battery. Running under the hood is a Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor clocked at 1.7Ghz, 1.5GB of RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jellybean with TouchWiz UI.
The S4 mini will be available in two colors, White Frost and Black Mist, and will come in three variants: a 4G LTE model, 3G HSPA model, and 3G Dual SIM model. Commercial availability will be determined by market.
No word yet on pricing and availability but might be announced at the Samsung Premiere 2013 GALAXY & ATIV event in London on June 20.
