According to SamMobile, they received new information about Samsung’s upcoming tablet and newest member of its Note lineup – the 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5100).
The Galaxy Note 8.0 will come in two variants; the 3G/WiFi (GT-N5100) version, and the WiFi-only (GT-N5110) version. Both tablets sport an 8-inch Super Clear LCD display with a resolution of 1280 × 800, 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor, 2GB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing, 16/32GB internal storage with microSD support, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, and a 4600 mAh battery. Looks like Samsung is aiming at the iPad Mini with this tablet.
The device comes with a stylus and runs Android 4.2 Jellybean out of the box. Pricing and availability were not disclosed but reports say that Samsung is planning to announce the Galaxy Note 8.0 at next month’s MWC in Barcelona.
