As mentioned earlier, the V10 has unique dual lens front camera and two display setup. Compared to the 8MP selfie camera of the G4, the V10 only has 5MP but it can do either a personal selfie or a wide group selfie with ease. Another unique thing about the V10 is its dual display. A smaller panel is positioned above the main display to act as secondary for notifications, time, date, and shortcuts. This gives uninterrupted usage of the main display especially when watching videos and playing mobile games.
In terms of memory, the V10 has a bigger internal storage and higher RAM compared to the G4. That’s 64GB vs 32GB, and 4GB vs 3GB. Not only that, the V10 can support up to 2TB of expanded memory via microSD.
The two has 16MP camera and shoots 4K with optical image stabilization, a combo for having a clear and smooth video. While manual image control has been around for a while, and the G4 performs well at it, the V10 expands the manual control to videos. Making it a decent camcorder for general use.
LG V10 advantages:
– Dual Lens and Dual Display
– Bigger 64GB internal storage
– Higher 4GB RAM
– Manual video recording
LG G4 advantages:
– 8-megapixel front-facing camera
– Higher 538ppi pixel density
– Lighter at 155g
LG V10 easily beats the G4 on paper and it’s clearly the new king of the Korean tech-giant. Still, the G4 is a great smartphone for power users and its 6-month long reign as LG’s flagship has been worthwhile.
