Kruhaaay Antique Heritage Tour Day 2

It’s Day 2 of our Antique Heritage Tour, and I’m excited to explore the rest of the province!  We woke up a little bit early for our cup of coffee. We spent our night at the Zipline Inn. It was named as such because it is adjacent to a Zipline facility.

From our accommodations, we were then shuttled to the beach where we Had our lambaklad fishing the previous day for our breakfast.  We had the usual Filipino breakfast but this time, by the beach!

PHILTOA AlMaSor Media Familiarization Tour Primer

I have been planning to go back to Bicol this year. It’s already in the pipeline. But going back to the Bicolandia on two consecutive trips is crazy.

My first return to Bicol was courtesy of Bigg’s Diner. One of the most popular fastfood chain in the Region offering mouth watering dishes at very affordable prices.

Around Bicol in 30 Plates (part 3)

It was the last full day of our Around Bicol in 30 Pates adventure. We Woke up a little bit early for our breakfast. But d’yo know what greeted us? The magnificent Mayon Volcano showing up in her full glory. It was so beautiful.

After taking photos of the volcano, we had our yummy breakfast of hash brown juicy franks sunny side up and potato salad on the side. Sarap!

Around Bicol in 30 Plates (part 2)

And the adventure continues. I woke up a little bit early and left Avenue Hotel. I took a pedicab that brought me to one of Bicol’s most popular religious structure: The Basilica Minore del Nuestra Señora del Peñafrancia or simply called as the Basilica.

This is where the miraculous image of of the Virgin Mary draped in a cloth full of gold floss can be found. I attended the 6AM mass. It was in Bikolano so I cant realy comprehend much of the sermon.

Around Bicol in 30 Plates

It was around May when I received an invitation for a food tour in Bicol. And without having any second thoughts, I immediately said yes to join the tour.

In celebration of Bigg’s Diner’s 30th anniversary, they are inviting several bloggers to tour around Bicol in 30 plates. It surely looks exciting and I can’t wait to go back to the Bicolandia. My last Bicol trip was around 6 or 7 years ago. Tagal na di ba!
