Along with the Fire HD 6 tablet, Amazon has also introduced their most powerful tablet in the lineup which sports an 8.9-inch HDX (2560 x 1600) display, LTE connectivity, and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 quad-core CPU – the new Fire HDX 8.9.

The Fire HDX 8.9 (WiFi, sponsored screensavers) has a price tag of $379 for the 16GB, $429 for the 32GB, and $479 for the 64GB. The unlocked 4G LTE model (with sponsored screen savers) sells for $529 for the 32GB and $579 for the 64GB.
Should users wish to be more productive with the Fire tablets, Amazon is also selling the Fire Keyboard for $59.99. It is compatible with the new Fire HDX 8.9, and other Fire HD and HDX tablets.
