Facebook has a launched a new tool within its social media site that lets you add a rainbow filter to your profile pic in celebration of the recent U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling that same-sex marriage is now legal across the United States.
If you go to this link, www.facebook.com/celebratepride, the tool will show a preview of your profile pic with a rainbow filter. You then have the option set this as your of profile picture.
The rainbow flag is used worldwide as a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) pride and LGBT social movements.
Facebook is not the only tech company celebrating today, Google has also launched its Android Pride Parade and will display colorful artwork when you Google “gay marriage”.
