Microsoft announces the price of their most affordable Lumia handset in the Philippines — the Lumia 435. It runs on Windows 8.1 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor on-board. Check out its local pricing after the break.

The device comes with a free global HERE Maps and HERE Drive+ as well as a free HERE Transit available in the Store as part of their HERE location services. HTC, on its attempt to focus on the Desire lineup, has introduced the Desire 320 that took its cues from the entry-level Desire 310 which was unveiled early last year. With it comes a slight upgrade in specs and updated OS. Check it out after the break.

It also has the same HTC BlinkFeed home screen that displays updates and feeds in one organized place. Battery-wise, the company claims it lasts up to three hours of talk time and 450 hours of standby time.

The prepaid Desire 320, as of now, sells for $99.99 or Php4,499.

Pricing for Samsung’s low-end smartphones revealed

A few days back, Samsung introduced the lineup of its new low-end handsets targeted to those looking for their first smartphone. They run Android KitKat out of the box which makes them attractive to interested buyers that are on the prowl for a new phone. Samsung Netherlands revealed the pricing so scroll past the break to see them.

As you may have noticed, the price points are inexplicably expensive considering they’re just entry level handsets and are targeted at first-time buyers. We could think of many other devices with better specs than these and they come way cheaper. Though this may be the case, we should consider that these are priced in Netherlands and they may have a different arrangement of pricing their devices there.

For now, let’s just see how Samsung will price them when they arrive in Asia.
