Had problems registering with Globe during the recent system downtime last March 7-8? You’re in luck as the local telecom is providing users with free calls and texts for their subscribers effective today.
The freebie sent out includes free unlicalls and 50 free texts, both applicable only to Globe/TM receipents. We think that this offer lasts for only a day, and will only be for those who will receive the SMS.

This is a result of the system downtime last February 7-8, where Globe conducted a system upgrade that affected registering on any promotional offers through the 8888 or *143# services. The system upgrade apparently affected those who are currently registered to promos as well, since we’ve seen complaints on their comments section about getting cut off their registered promos on the time the services were seen to be active.
